A Support Worker’s salary in Australia depends on the area of specialisation and years of experience.
Personal Support Worker pay rates start at $26 per hour and increase based on knowledge, experience and qualifications.
Disability Support Workers require more specialisation and experience, and as a result, earn a higher hourly rate of $31 or more per hour based on years of service and specialisation.
Community Support Workers earn the highest average rate of $35.51 per hour
